She was born Dec. 6, 1923, in Buchanan, Michb., where she grew up. She married Donald J. Adams Jan. 24, 1942. She was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing and making quilts.
She moved to Payson in 1978 and to Show Low about eight years ago. She was a Jehovah's Witness and attended Kingdom Hall in Lakeside, Ariz.
She is survived by six children, Kiren Ohl of Knightdale, N.C., Bill Adams of Prescott Valley, Ariz., Catherine K. Mathews of Natoma, Kan.,Mary Smith of Mesa, Ariz., Debi Bellman of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Joy Williams of Show Low.
Other survivors include two brothers, Dana Walls of Niles, Mich. and Herbert Walls of Galien, Mich.; four sisters, Mary Miller and Beth Hanover of Buchanan, Mich., Bonnie Nelson of Crescent City, Fla., and Nancy Franklin of Port St. Lucie, Fla.; 21 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Adams was preceded in death by her husband Donald, and her grandson, Jason Eric Smith.
Graveside services will be held at Payson Pioneer Cemetery. Arrangement are under the direction Fletcher's Mortuary in Show Low. (Payson Round-up - 6 June 2000)
