Mr. Googin was born in Syracuse and was a life resident of Cazenovia. He was a sophomore at Cazenovia Central School, a part-time employee at Lincklaen House, and participant in the youth soccer program in Cazenovia.
He was also a communicant of St. James Church, Cazenovia.
Survivors are his parents, Robert F. and the former Janice Lampros, both of Cazenovia; three sisters, Kelli M., Amy K. and Abigail E.; one brother, Steven C., all of Cazenovia; a paternal grandmother, Loretta of Cazenovia; a maternal grandmother, Dorothy Lampros of Cazenovia; several cousins, uncles and aunts.
A Mass was offered at St. James Church, Cazenovia. Burial was in St. James Cemetery, Cazenovia.
