She was buried by Harry Jones, her husband of more than 50 years , at Forrest Lawn Memorial Cemetery. She was born at Aberdare,Wales 22 Aug 1894 coming to the USA with parents, William H. Hopkins and Hannah Louisa Williams of Aberdare Wales. They lived briefly in Joliet,Will, Illinois moving to Monessen , Pennslyvania . Marrying in 1911 to William Harry Jones in her parents home, was ,of Wales also. They had 2 children Son Albert Jeffrey Jones , born in Pennsylvania and wife Belkiss Pivello Jones born in Rio de Janeiro and Hannah Vivian Jones Craig and son in law Samuel Craig, of Turlock Califonia . She died in Gadsden , Alabama on 21 Feb 1981 at Holy Name of Jesus hospital at the age of 86, of heart failure. I am her granddaughter Mary Ellen Jones Campbell and my grandmother lived with us all my life after she moved in 1960 to Gadsden , and was with her as a RN at the time of death and my husband was her surgeon for her pacemaker. Her interment is lot 68 block C section Central Park and was taken by air to Youngstown to be buried on February 26, 1981 at 1PM. Held by Velker - Davis funeral home . She attended the First Christian Church and was a 50 year member of the White Shrine of Jerusalem and member of Trios chapter of Eastern Star 523 in Youngstown ,Ohio . Contributions went to the heart association . When she died she had 5 grandchildren and 4 great grand children . Friends called from 7-9 the Wednesday after her death. Officiated by Dr. Norman Crewson, which I have to believe dead also. But the funeral home exist today as Davis -Velker. (788-9605.)
