Married to Katherine Alice Montgomery, preceded in death by his parents Wallace Woodley Campbell and Catherine Genivieve Herbert . He had 3 brothers and one sister . William Herbert Campbell, Lyda Thersa Campbell Scurry and Henry Gerard Majella Campbell. And 7 grandchildren from his children who were Dr. John Hugh Campbell, Linda Mae Campbell Price and the late Martha JoAn Campbell.
Jack Campbell was a very devout Catholic and remained so till his death. He attended St. John’s Catholic Church in downtown Tuscaloosa and while he was in Vicksburg attended St. Paul’s Catholic Church where his mother was the secretary for Monsignor Pendergast until his death. He came from the Woodley family of Montgomery who were very well known and were the beginning family of owners who started the town of Montgomery Alabama.
