A big THANK YOU to FGraver Jim S. for the following information - I have never been able to track down the correct Anne Banks for this memorial page, and so Jim's hard work is really appreciated! =)

England & Wales, Non-Conformist and Non-Parochial Registers, 1567-1936
Birth, baptism & christening:

Name: Ann Rathbone
Event Type: Baptism
Birth Date: 7 Nov 1833
Baptism Date: 18 Feb 1834
Baptism Place: Kilsby, Northamptonshire, England
Denomination: Independent
Father: Thomas Rathbone
Mother: Phoebe Fowler
(Contributor: Jim-S. #46879912)

From online census records, regarding the marriage of Anne to Edward Banks, a linen draper:

Ann Rathbone
Possible Partners: Edward Banks Or George Monks ... District: Warrington ... County: Lancashire ...
Year: 1856 ... Quarter: Apr-Jun ... Volume: 8c ...
Page: 0127 ... Volume: 8c ... Page: 0127 ...

Jim has also discovered that the third brother that I only had a name for, William, was born in 1855 and died in 1919 at Falmouth; he became a doctor. I will verify whether he is anywhere on this site at this point and if not, a memorial will be placed for him asap, as well as following the Phoebe Fowler lead. TY again to Jim for this wealth of information, after so many years of my getting nowhere on this family's links, history and eventual outcome.

=======

By the 1861 UK census, Anne and Edward have three sons that I have been able to verify so far - Edward Church (Church is his middle name), William and Thomas Hardy. There may be more children but, as noted, I have not yet verified that information. Thomas would become a minister and become the father of Edward Francis Banks, who has an extensive tribute page on this site; he was killed in France during WWI, and can be found under "My Family" notes, or through the family links below.

Anne has only a couple of notations specifically about her in the paperwork that I have, so far - I know without a doubt that her maiden name was Rathbone, and that her family may have come from Scotland, but I do not know when, who made the move and what the circumstances were, at this point.

I know nothing of Anne's death, the circumstances or where she might be buried - like her husband and, at this point in my research, all three sons noted, I have found no cemetery notes, gravestones, etc. I will continue to pursue this matter.
