I, J. Wathen, manager of this memorial, am the great-grandniece of Albert. His sister, Ella Bertha (Magers) Roberts is my great-grandmother.

Albert Magers, Dillon, Dies At VA Hospital

Albert B. Magers, 60, Dillon area ranch hand and army air corps veteran of World War II, died Monday at Veterans Hospital, Fort Harrison, where he had been a patient since Jan. 10.

A native of Plato, Mo., Mr. Magers was born Sept. 9, 1903. He entered the army at Butte on Sept. 15, 1942 and was discharged as a private from Co. B, 844th Aviation Battalion at Mather Field, Calif., on March 23, 1943.

The names of surviving relatives were not immediately available to hospital officials.

Brundage Funeral Home in Dillon will be in charge of funeral arrangements.

Albert Magers Taken by Death

DILLON - Albert Magers, 60, longtime ranch worker of the Beaverhead area, died Monday at the Veterans Hospital in Fort Harrison, following an extended period of ill health.

The body has been forwarded to Brundage Chapel at Dillon, where services are pending.

Mr. Magers was born Sept. 9, 1903, at Plato, Mo., and had been a Beaverhead resident for many years. There are no known survivors.

DILLON - Graveside services will be conducted Friday at 11 a.m. in Mountain View Cemetery for Albert Magers, 60, longtime Beaverhead ranchworker who died Monday in the Veterans Hospital at Fort Harrison, following an extended illness.

Beaverhead American Legion Post No. 20 will accord military rites and interment will be in the Legion Plot.
