When she was 6 years old, her mother was married to Benjamin Clayton McMaster. On December 10, 1894, at the age of 17, Ida married August A. Glade, in Alda, Nebraska. She was only 19 when she died...her daughter, Mildred Ida Glade, was born in 1897, so Ida's death might have been due to childbirth.
