BEULAH PARDOE
OTTUMWA - Beulah M. Pardoe, 82, of Ottumwa died April 24, 1994, at Ridgewood Care Center in Ottumwa of Alzheimer's disease.
She was born Feb. 28, 1912, in Waukee to James and Rosa Goodwin Remster. She married Francis Pardoe on June 13, 1931, in Chariton.
She was a member of First Congregational Church in Ankeny.
She is survived by two sons, Francis L. of Ottumwa and James Pardoe of Waterloo; 13 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a daughter, Betty Lou Carman; and five brothers, Rolley, Lawrence, Earl, Ray and Lester Remster.
The service will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Fielding Funeral Home in Chariton, the Rev. Paul Olson officiating. Burial will be in the Chariton Cemetery. Family visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Disease Association.
Pallbearers will be Tony, David, Scott and Todd Pardoe, Roger Berger and Nolan Meggers.
