Taylor Elizabeth Kucel, age 9, of Levelland, Texas, passed away on June 16, 2015, at Covenant Children's Hospital after her courageous 27-month battle with a cancer called alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma. Taylor was born on February 4, 2006, in Lubbock, Texas to Chad (formerly of Meco, NY) and Katherine Kucel. She had just completed the third grade at Levelland Christian School. She was active in her church and loved riding horses, music, writing songs and camping.

Taylor is survived by her parents, Chad and Katherine Kucel; brother, Cason; grandparents, Joel and Kimberly Kucel (formerly of Meco, NY), Roger and Connie Sullivan; great-grandparents, Shirley Houserman, Dorothy Sullivan and Helen Butts Stasey; aunts, uncles and many cousins. She was predeceased by her great-grandparents, Albert "Red" and Dorothy Kucel of Meco, NY, and Keith Houserman of Artesia, NM.

A funeral service honoring Taylor was held on Saturday, June 20, 2015, at the First Assembly of God Church in Levelland, Texas, followed with burial in the City of Levelland Cemetery.
