Lilian Marie Boettcher, age 7, passed from this world peacefully in her mother's arms at 4:58 PM on Saturday, June 13th, 2015, at American Family Children's Hospital, Madison, WI. Lily bravely battled neuroblastoma cancer for 2 years, but unfortunately complications from a recent relapse took her from us too soon.

Lilian (Lily) was born on February 9th 2008, in Appleton WI. Lily had just finished her 1st grade year at Readfield Elementary.

Lily was known for her easy giggles and infectious laughter which was always accompanied by her bright smile. Lily was loved by many. She cared and shared easily for others while showing a spirit for life that was beyond her years. She was the essence of a wonderful 7 year old. Lily enjoyed playing outside, various games, crafts, helping others, and cuddles from those she loved dearly.

While Lily left this earth too soon, for those that loved her dearly, she taught us all the strength and dignity that defined her spunky, sassy spirit and drew others to love her so deeply. Lily could light up a room with her smile and laughter, especially amidst the struggles she encountered over the past 2 years.

Lily is survived by her father, Chad Boettcher and mother, Melissa Boettcher (Truyman); her brother, Gavin. Paternal Grandparents, Steve Boettcher and Connie Nieland; maternal Grandparents, Don Truyman and Cathy Truyman. Aunts and Uncles: Jessica Boettcher, Patty Fugar (Kyle), and Ben Truyman; cousins Jaxson, Liam and Logan.

A gathering of family and friends will be at Christ the Rock Community Church, W6254 U.S. 10 114 in Menasha on Friday June 19, 2015 from 3:30 to 6:30 pm and on Saturday June 20, 2015 from 9:30 to 11:00 am. There will be a memorial service at the church on Saturday at 11:00 am.
