Edward E. Brown, 83, of Terre Haute died at 10:57 AM Saturday, March 5, 2005 in Union Hospital. He retired in 1989 from the US Postal Service. He was a mail carrier for more than 30 years. He was born Dec. 11, 1921 in West Terre Haute to Leo Brown and Catherine Coffey Brown. Survivors include his wife, Barbara Porter Brown; and one son, Michael Brown of Terre Haute. He was preceded in death by his parents. He was a graduate of Gerstmeyer Tech High School and was an Army veteran of World War II. There are no services or visitation. Cremation is scheduled.
