Miles Avila-Crump passed away on Aug. 15 in Prescott, Ariz., at the age of 20. He was a graduate of Cleveland H.S. Miles was a sensitive, kind and tender human being. He believed in nonviolence and in looking out for the most vulnerable. He loved music, traveling, the beach, animals, skateboarding and spending time with his friends. Survived by his loving family: parents, Pam Avila and Tim Crump; twin brother, Forrest; and sister, Savanna Avila-Crump. Memorial Services: Fri., Aug. 23, Noon, Sacred Heart Church, 3910 SE 11th 97202 and Fri., Sept. 6, 7 p.m., Multnomah Friends Meeting, 4312 SE Stark St., 97215.
