Funeral services for Louie A. Frisby, 65, of Grapeland, were held Friday, Sept. 13, at 3 p.m. in the First Baptist Church, Grapeland, with the Rev. Charles Haley and the Rev. J. T. Riley officiating. Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery, Percilla.
Native and lifelong resident of Grapeland, Mr. Frisby was born Sept. 14, 1902, to John A. Frisby and the late Mrs. Mary Arnold Frisby.
He died Thursday, Sept. 12, at 2:30 a.m. in a Grapeland hospital following a short illness. Mr. Frisby was a Baptist, and was the husand of the late Mrs. Minnie Dickey Frisby, who died Oct. 2, 1944.
Survivors include a son, Lavon Frisby of Grapeland; four daughters, Mrs. Chuck (Gloria) Redmon of Alta Loma, Mrs. Ronald (Laura) Averitte of Carrollton, Mrs. Doug (Patsy) Harrison of Crockett, and Mrs. Wymon (Marie) Brown of Grapeland; father, John A. Frisby of Crockett; 13 grandchildren.
Arrangements were by Hassell and Foster.
