Floyd A. Barber Jr., aged 68, of Comstock Park, died Tuesday, April 24, 1990 at Blodgett Memorial Medical Center. Surviving are his wife, Jane; his children, Floyd and Colleen Barber III, Beth Bergeron; four grandchildren, Bruce, Michael, Amy and Nicholas; one brother, Dr. Robert (Elsa) Barber all of Grand Rapids; several nieces and nephews. Mr. Barber was a school teacher for Comstock Park Public Schools for 30 years. Services will be held 3:00 Friday at the Reyers North Valley Chapel, 2815 Fuller Ave. NE at 3 Mile Rd., with The Rev. Larry Brosseit of Comstock Park United Church of Christ officiating. Interment in Alpine Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet his family at the chapel from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm Thursday. For those who wish, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
