Joseph Stephen Dollens, 18 year old Bartlesville resident passed from this life January 22, 2011, at his home in Bartlesville. Joseph was born April 2, 1992, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma to Steven and Connie (Geubelle) Dollens. He attended school in Claremore and Bartlesville where he graduated high school and was currently a freshman at Rogers State University. During the summers, Joseph worked for the City of Claremore Parks Department. Joseph was very active and he loved riding dirt bikes, mountain climbing, water sports, and spending time with family. During his first semester at RSU he made straight A's. Music and playing his guitar brought him hours of enjoyment but what brought him the most enjoyment in life was to help others that were less fortunate. He always made time to show his compassion to people and was a very giving person. Preceding Joseph in death are his maternal grandfathers, Francis J. Geubelle and Harry L. Coffel and a sister, Stacy Maria Dollens. He is survived by his parents, Steven Dollens, of Bartlesville, Connie Geubelle Dollens, of Claremore, a brother, Mickey Dollens, a student at SMU in Dallas, Texas, grandparents, Al and Carolyn Dollens, of Pawhuska, Boyd and Dorothy (Coffel) Heitman, Aunts and Uncles, Darrell and Larisa Dollens, Rev. Danny and Alyssa Cabaniss, Sherry and Walter Lavine, Mike and Melissa Geubelle, Michelle, and Bill Parsley, Trudi and John Haase, Brent and Suzanne Geubelle, Bill and Marianne Geubelle, many cousins, other relatives and a host of friends.
