Lorene "Corky" Aldridge, 75, of Columbia died Friday at a hospital in Stockton.

Mrs. Aldridge, a native of Blair, Oklahoma, owned and operated Wilder's Hallmark on Washington Street in Sonora for nine years. Before that, she had worked as an accountant for 35 years.

Mrs. Aldridge lived in Tuolumne County for 26 years and was a member and treasurer for 10 years of the Phoenix Lake Women's Golf Club.

She is survived by her husband, Percy Aldridge of Columbia; a son, Norman Lovelace of Concord; a daughter, Karen (Lovelace) Smith of Concord; two brothers, Drury F. Lollar of Bakersfield and Ralph E. Lollar of Redwood City; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, John D. Lovelace, in 1971.

A celebration of life will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Columbia Sky Mobile Home Park clubhouse. Burial will be private.

Heuton Memorial Chapel is handling arrangements.

Remembrances may be made to the Visiting Nurse Association, P. O. Box 4805, Sonora 95370.

"Corky" was the youngest child and only daughter of George Albert Lollar and Margaret May Churchill.

On November 13, 1943, she married Stuart Norman Lovelace in San Francisco, California. The marriage ended in divorce in 1969.

On July 4, 1975, she married Percy Leo Aldridge in Reno, Nevada.

She was the owner of a Hallmark store.

She was preceded in death by a son:
John Douglas Lovelace
