Carrell M. Nees, 84, Englewood, died Jan. 16, 1999.
He was born Oct. 18, 1914, in Ludlow, Ill. He worked as an auto mechanic for more than 30 years for Luby Chevrolet in Miami, Bill Buck Chevrolet in Venice and Anthony Abraham Chevrolet in Sarasota. He later worked with Winn Dixie Stores Inc., Store 700, in Englewood.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy A. Raymond; two daughters, Karyl K. St. John of Orlando and Kathi M. Hallman of Aiken, S.C.; a son, Kenneth L. of New York City; a brother, Walter A. of Pomona, Calif.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. today, with a Masonic service at 3 p.m., at Lemon Bay Funeral Home, Englewood Chapel.
The service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
