Keziah H. Brooks, is said to have been the first white child born in Ohio, which was at that time only wilderness. Her husband died in apporixmately 1855. She was survived by four sons and two daughter. She was well known in the city as an estimable woman who had many friends. Her funerl took place at St. Paul's Church on Third Street.
