Dorothy is the daughter of Martha Hamlin (4/1/1863 - 9/26/1954) and Henry Green Lear (7/1/1854 - 3/26/1929). She was 2nd born out of 10 children. Henry James, Dorothy, Martha Beulah, Craig Elwood, Earnest Green (Bud), William Atlee, Mary Green, Joseph Dewey, Ruthie, and Thomas Calvin. She was married to Samuel Clay (12/6/1890 - 5/24/1945)Sister of my grandfather Thomas Calvin Lear. Dorothy is my mother's aunt, and my great aunt. She died at the age of 64. She is buried whith her husband Samuel Clay.
