Chief Master Sergeant Sole entered the Army Air Force on 24 Nov 1945. He honorably served in the U.S. Air Force for over 30 years, including assignments in Korean and Vietnam during those conflicts.

(I had the pleasure of serving under Chief Sole at Minot AFB in 1970-1972)
