CLYDE TOWNSHIP-Helen L. Bartin, 70 died, tuesday, March 11, 1986 in her home after a long illness.
she was born Nov. 15, 1915, in Buffalo, N.Y., She lived in Clyde Townshio for the four years, previous to which she lived in Detroit. She married Robert C. Bartin. He died May 21, 1985.
She was a member of Holy Redeemer Luthern Church.
she is sruvived by one grandson, Christopher Bartin, Clyde Township; her mother, Helen M. Miller, and five sisters, Mayme E. Gurnsey, Mildred M. Marek, Lucille M. Schrader, Dorothy M. Carey, and Sybil L. Eagle, all of Port Huron; and three brothers, Norman F. and Raymond A. Miller, both of Port Huron, and Louis J. Miller, New Haven. She also is survived by her dear friends, Helen and Bert Janes.
She was preceded in death by her only child, Charles R. Bartin, March 1975.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in OUr Saviour Luthern Church. The Rev. Thomas L. Wilsmann, pastor of Holy Redeemer Luthern Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Kinney Cemetery.
Visiting is from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and Thurday in the Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home, Port Huron.
Memorials may be made to Holy RedeemerLuthern Church General Fund, Visiting Nurse Association of St. Clair County or Blue Water Hospice.
