Walkerville Merchant Died Early This Morning At His Home
Robert Badgley, a well known resident of Walkerville, died this morning at his home at the intersection of Fair Avenue and the Rushville Pike. Mr. Badgley was the proprietor of the store at that place. His death occurred at 4:15 o'clock. He was 35 years of age. He is survived by a widow, a step-daughter, Miss Freda Vaught, his mother, Mrs. Sarah Badgley, three brothers, Edward and Albert, of this city, and Charles, whose home is in Iowa, four sisters, Mrs. Clyda Stainbrook and Mrs. Blanche Schuff, of this city, Mrs. Ernest Neiss, of Indianapolis, and Miss Clara at home.
Mr. Badgley was a member of the Modern Woodmen lodge and the Protected Home Circle. His funeral will be held on Sunday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock in the Chapel at Forest Hill and burial will be made there. The Rev. E. R. Lewis of the Main Street church will deliver the funeral sermon. Ralph Edwards is the undertaker in charge.
