Mahala Mildred Armstrong, 83, died Sunday (16th) at her home, one and 1/2 miles East of Reno. She had a stroke in July 1920, and has been an invalid since that time. Her maiden name was ROACH, she was born 6 May 1836, in North Carolina, married first to Mr. Phillips, who died many years ago, married second Robert Armstrong, he died February 1881. Survived by one son S. E. Phillips of Texas two daughters Edith Pasco, of St. Louis Missouri, Mrs. Addi Boyd, of Madison, C. A. Armstrong of Reno, is a step son, and Mrs. W. B. McCracken, also of Reno, mother of Mrs. J.W. Travis of Greenville is a step-daughter, funeral will be Tuesday at the Baptist Church Burial at Elm Point Cemetery.
