DAVID HUE ANTHONY, SR.
Sergeant Anthony was shot and killed as he and other officers responded to an alarm call. The location had sent out four false alarms earlier in the day. The responding officers were under the impression they were responding to a fifth false alarm and as Sergeant Anthony walked into the store he was shot.
The suspect was convicted of murder, kidnapping, and bank robbery and sentenced to life in prison. He was denied parole in March 2006.
Sergeant Anthony was a U.S Navy veteran of the Korean War.
