Mr. Robert Bolton was born May 23, 1917,
in Logansport, Louisiana to the late Charles Martin Bolton and Margaret Emma Roberts.
Robert was called to his heavenly home on April 28, 2011, in Shreveport, Louisiana. Robert was a member for 60 years of Calvary Baptist Church here
in Shreveport and a member of the Cavalier Men's Bible Class at Calvary. For the past five years He attended Shreve City Baptist Church. He was a member of the American Legion Post 14 and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4588.

Mr. Bolton will be remembered as loving father, caring
grandfather, and doting great-grandfather to those who knew him.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife, Eddell Fuller Bolton and
seven siblings. Left to cherish Mr. Bolton's memory and tell his stories will be
one daughter, Anita Rose Bolton Wilkinson and husband Carl; three sons, Roy C.
Bolton, Lester R. Bolton and wife Theresa, and Larry N. Bolton; three
grandchildren, Paula Kay Bolton Horvath, Emily Michelle and Ethan Robert Bolton,
two great-grandchildren, Teryn and Thayne Horvath along with numerous family
members and many wonderful friends.

Robert was a decorated veteran of World War II and served with Gen Patton's 3rd Army during the Battle of the Bulge in the Ardennes region of Wallonia in Belgium, France and Luxembourg on the Western Front toward the end of World War II in Europe. He was the recipient of the Bronze Star for valor in battle.
