By the time of the 1900 US Federal Census Jennie was a newlywed living at 2566 California Street in San Francisco, CA. Her husband was a 25 year old Englishman by the name of William T. Jane who was working as a streetcar conductor.
By the time of the 1910 census Jennie and William were living at 2647 Ashby Avenue in Berkeley, CA. The couple had two children: Jane Serrita Jane (born 3 July, 1901) and Mabel E. Jane (born abt. 1907). Jennie's husband was, by then, employed at the university (University of California Berkeley?) as an assistant professor. The family was sharing their home with Jennie's brother, William H. Davisson, an 18 year old zoological assistant at the university.
In 1920, census records show that the family was once again living in San Francisco on 9th Avenue. Jennie's husband was an "apparatus salesman" and daughter Jane Serrita Jane was 18 years old and working at the University of California hospital in the laboratory. Daughter Mabel E. Jane was 13 years old at this time.
