Gary was born on August 23, 1958 to Jack and Lavell Cartwright. He was a strong willed man whose joy was serving others. His heart was genuine and kind. Gary loved supporting his children and attending all of their sporting events. He believed in them more than they believed in themselves. Not only was he a father figure for his children but also for their friends and his nieces. Gary had fun riding his Harley Davidson, boating with his friends, working out and entertaining others. His humor and free spirit were truly a blessing this world. Gary was loved deeply and will be missed.

He is survived by: Daughter, Brittnie Cartwright and Son, Logan Cartwright, both of Newburgh Mother, Lavell (Beliles) Cartwright of Newburgh Brother, Larry Cartwright (Shelia) of Newburgh Mother of his children, Sandra Cartwright of Newburgh And many loving nieces and nephews He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Cartwright.
