Pine Prairie- Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 30, 2007, at 4 p.m., for Johnny "Sugar Foot" Broussard, 72, at the First Baptist Church in Pine Prairie with Bro. David Plunkett officiating. Burial will follow in the Campbell Cemetery.
Sugar Foot, a resident of Pine Prairie, died at the Evangeline Extended Care Hospital in Mamou on Friday, April 27, 2007 .

Mr. Broussard is survived by two sons, John Broussard, David Broussard and wife, Cindy all of Pine Prairie; two daughters, Lisa Soileau and husband Steve, Kelly Broussard all of Pine Prairie; one brother, Jack Broussard of Ball; two sisters, Betty Jo LaCaze of Opelousas, Margi Ensminger of Lafayette; seven grandchildren, Garrett, Hunter, Ariel, Austin, Chelsea, Wyatt, Cade, all of Pine Prairie

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marlene Campbell Broussard; his parents, Johnny and Mable Broussard.

Visitation will be held Sunday, April 29, 2007 from 2 pm until 10 pm at the First Baptist Church in Pine Prairie, La. The church will reopen Monday, April 30, 2007 at 8 a. m. until time of services.

Ardoin's Funeral Home of Mamou is in charge of arrangements.
