Rock Musician. Haug who was a drummer and keyboard player, formed the musical group, 'Double' with Kurt Maloo in 1981. The band who were formally known as, 'Ping Pong', recorded several songs including, 'Woman Of The World', 'I Know A Place', 'Your Prayer Takes Me Off', 'Rangoon Man', 'Urban Nomads', 'Love Is A Plane', and 'Tomorrow', but are best remembered as the group who released, 'The Captain Of Her Heart', in 1986. The song went onto sell more than 1.5 million singles to become a Top-10 hit across Europe and reached 8th place on the British music charts. The group disbanded in 1987, but continued to write songs and work with other musicians. Haug passed away in May 2004, at the age of 52.
