Mildred was the daughter of Carl J. Childers Jr. and Mary H. Childers. She married Harry Davis on May 12, 1934 in Athens, Clarke County Ga. They had one child James Young.
Mildred graduated from Athens High in 1928 and worked for a number of years in retail. After retiring the family once again made their home back in Athens, Ga. where she was a social worker for Heritage Nursing Home. She was a member of the Oconee Heights Baptist Church.
Mildred was a very out going and friendly person and is greatly missed by all that knew her.
