Funeral services for Marian Pearl Crawley will be held Saturday, April 7, 2012 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church in Weleetka. Interment will follow at the Hillcrest Cemetery also in Weleetka. Marian Pearl Crawley was born April 7, 1914 in Henryetta, Oklahoma to John and Lena (Starr) Freeman. She passed away, Monday, April 2, 2012 in Eufaula at the age of 97. Mrs. Crawley had been a longtime resident of Weleetka. She and Cecil Daniel Crawley married April 27, 1935 in Hichita, Oklahoma; he later preceded her in death, April 10, 1991. She graduated from Graham High School and owned and operated a beauty shop in California from 1940 to the late 60s. In the mid 1970s, she and her family, returned to Weleetka where she resided ever since. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, crocheting and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Weleetka. She is also preceded in death by her parents; one daughter in law, Linda Kay Crawley; one son, John Thomas Crawley; one brother, Ted Freeman and three sisters, Leola Freeman, Wynema Rainer and Wynetta Scott. * Services will be under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home, Okemah and officiated by Rev. Steve Gniech.
