Nikki was an abused puppy mill dog. She came to us suffering from neurotic fears and intense shyness. She became not only our "daughter" but the best friend I have ever had. Her button eyes and gentle manner impressed all who met her. I nursed her through a neurological impairment (stroke) as well as the cancer which took her life.
I will never forget her and hope for the day we can be re-united again. No human has ever touched my heart like my beloved Nikki. Rest in peace, pumpkin.
