In the 1950's with toured in a small group with her husband and was a principal dancer and director of Royal Winnipeg Ballet from 1956-57. She danced in the 1958 revival of "Annie Get Your Gun." Her career as a dancer ended with the development of primary degenerative arthritis in her hip.
