NAPERVILLE - Donna V. Anderson (Voss), age 53, passed away from the complications of Frontotemporal Dementia on Saturday, January 4th, 2014 at Autumn Leaves in Oswego. She was born on October 28, 1960 in Elmhurst to Jergen and Dorothy Voss. Donna graduated from York High School in 1978 and went on to attend Northern Illinois University where she graduated in 1982 majoring in clothing and textiles with an emphasis in design. Donna began working for Mark Shale in 1976 and retired in December, 2012. Her skills in business and organization were highly valued during a successful thirty-six year career. She married Bruce Anderson in June, 1986 and they spent twenty seven years together raising their children, Kurt and Kirsten, in their home on Plank Road in Naperville. Donna's life centered around family and home. She often welcomed guests for family celebrations, holidays, and soccer gatherings. Donna's home always brought people together. She enjoyed entertaining, gardening, shopping, baking, and sewing as well as being actively involved in the lives of her husband and children. Donna is survived by her husband, Bruce, son Kurt (23), and daughter Kirsten (20); all of Naperville. Also surviving are her parents, Jrgen and Dorothy Voss, of Lombard, formerly of Elmhurst, her sister Carolyn, of Aurora, Colorado, and brother Peter (Sue) of Chicago. She also leaves numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. The family extends their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Autumn Leaves; Doctors Kerry Disanto and Kimberly Bruneau; and the Harbor Light Hospice Care Team for their care and concern during the last months of her life.
