He was born April 1, 1961 in Dallas, TX, the son of Carrol Kay and Betty J. Crowser Beckwith. An area resident he had a Bachelors of Science in Nursing. He was a Unit Leader at Larned State Hospital. Previously he had been director of nursing at Larned Juvenile Correctional Facility. He was also a licensed funeral director/embalmer.
He was of the Catholic Faith. He enjoyed gambling and trips to Las Vegas, family barbeques, shooting fireworks and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include: his mother, Betty J. Beckwith, Larned, KS.; one brother, Kyle (Tamara) Beckwith, Larned, KS; one sister, Krystal (Jeremy) Watts, Clearwater, KS.; one nephew Chaz (Tabatha) Beckwith, Larned, KS.; four nieces, Cara (Lance) Hoffman, Claflin, KS., Victoria Watts, Jasmine Watts and Cherry Watts all of Clearwater, KS; numerous aunts, uncles and an abundance of friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Carrol Kay Beckwith.
Rosary will be said at 6 p.m. Friday. Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned with Father Jacob Schneider presiding. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday with family present from 6:30 p.m.to 8 p.m. Friday at the mortuary. Burial will be at the Larned Cemetery following the service.
