Carol Ann Duber, 52, of Globe, Ariz., died July 5, 2005. She was born in Yuma, Feb. 4, 1953, the daughter of Barbara Ann (Fuller) and Lyle Jerome Erstad.
She attended Arizona State University and earned her bachelor's degree in nursing. She was a registered nurse at Cobre Valley Community Hospital from 1976 to 1987, and was a school nurse at Copper Rim Elementary School from 1987 to 1995. She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church and Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.
Her favorite pastimes included sewing, dancing, crafts, and playing the piano and the organ.
Mrs. Duber is survived by her husband of 30 years, the Honorable Robert Duber II of Globe; son: John Michael Duber of San Diego, Calif.; daughter: Lindsay Michelle (Ronald) Bromund of Gold Canyon, Ariz.; mother, Barbara Brown of Sun City, Ariz.; and brother, John Erstad of Mesa, Ariz.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lyle Erstad.
There will be a visitation from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Friday, July 8, 2005, at Miles Funeral Services Globe Chapel, 237 S. Sutherland Street, Globe, Ariz. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 9, 2005 at Miles Funeral Services Globe Chapel. Interment will follow at Globe Cemetery on Hackney Avenue. Donations can be made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 630 N. Devereaux Street, Globe, Ariz. 85501.
