Loraine Bemiss, age 90, was born to Andrew and Maude Bux. She will join her late husband, Dr. Clair W Bemiss, who predeceased her in 1993. Loraine graduated from Eastman School of Music in Rochester, Monroe, NY, with a degree in piano performance. She met and married Clair while in Rochester. They moved to Satellite Beach, Brevard, FL in 1956. Loraine was a 60-year member of Eastminster Presbyterian Church in Indialantic, FL and was the first woman elected to the Board of Elders. She is survived by son Kevin L and his wife Angi of Sandy Springs, Fulton, GA. A memorial service was held Friday, 4Mar at Eastminister Presyterian Church.
