An accomplished accordion player, salami and deli salesman and avid boater, Lou, embraced by his family and friends, died peacefully on April 13, 2009, at age 87. A WW II Navy veteran, navigational instructor for the Coast Guard, he created a family that adored him.

He was beloved husband to Mary for 18 years and Helen for 40 years; father to Don (Ginny) and Marilou (Merl) and grandfather to three. He leaves behind also his special late-in-life love, Angela and her children. A memorial mass was celebrated in his honor on April 29th, 2009 at Holy Family Church, 209 E. Lomita Ave., Glendale.
