A 1969 graduate of Moravian College, Bethlehem, Pa. where he received a bachelors degree in English. He was a former president of the Omicron Gamma Omega fraternity at Moravian College.
He owned and operated the Bliwise Wines & Liquors in Mountainside, which was started by his grandfather in 1917 as a General Store. Glen was known for his excellent knowledge of wine and the industry that supported it.
He was a member and past president of the Mountainside Rotary Club and a member of the Moselem Springs Golf Club in Pennsylvania and the Plainfield Country Club, Edison. He was also a treasurer of the Millburn-Short Hills Soccer Association and an officer and coach of the Little League baseball and Small Fry basketball leagues in Millburn-Short Hills.
Surviving are Cherie, his wife of 35 years; a son, Ged (Glen Evan David); his mother, Marion Bliwise, and a sister, Hope Goodsite.

Cause of Death: Pancreatic Cancer
