The company is known worldwide for its unique purple colors. Todd, his wife Barbara, and their daughter were visiting a popular tourist attraction known as "The Drum Tower" when they were attacked by a deranged man with a knife. Todd was mortally wounded and his wife was left in critical condition. Their daughter was unharmed and the assailant subsequently took his own life. Todd's daughter, a former olympic volleyball player, is married to the current men's volleyball coach. The men's team went on to win the gold medal.
