Joseph Crotteau, 20, of Haugen died Nov. 21 while hunting in Sawyer County.

Mr. Crotteau was born to Robert and Jean (Juza) Crotteau on April 10, 1984 in Rice Lake. He attended St. Joseph Catholic School from kindergarten through the second grade and then Rice Lake Public Schools and graduated from Rice Lake High School in 2002. He then worked at R&J Concrete until his death. He enjoyed snowmobiling, four-wheeling and hunting.

He is survived by his mother, Jean Crotteau of Haugen; a brother, Carter of Haugen; a sister, Vanessa of Haugen; his maternal grandparents, Thomas and Lorraine Juza of Haugen; his paternal grandmother, Carol Crotteau of Rice Lake; his paternal grandfather, Gerald Crotteau of Florida; and his paternal great-grandmothers, Agnes Fredrickson and Elenor Crotteau, both of Rice Lake.
