He was born in Chester, Pa. to the marriage of Deborah J. Anderson and Wilbert Ricketts, Sr. on 6/04/92. He grew up in Darby, Pa. and did move back to Chester, Pa. until his untimely passing on 1/01/15. Ramon attended Christian Academy in Brookhaven, Pa., Christ Academy in Collingdale, Pa. and Graduated from Upper Darby High School, in 2010. Afterwards he did attend Delaware County Community College for the Business Administration curriculum. In 2008, Ramon was placed on the Honor Society List and also awarded a Fencing Scholarship to Temple University, in Philadelphia for weekend classes. He was a Born Leader and “gifted of God” in Athletic Ability, far beyond the usual athlete in: Baseball, Fencing, and Wrestling and Soccer sports. It was stated by his coaches ongoing, that Ramon could easily obtain a Full Scholarship for College in Fencing or Wrestling, however, Ramon’s love for playing Baseball and the hopes of going on to the Major Baseball Leagues, was Ramon’s Dream for the future. He also was a member of the Boy Scouts of America in Aldan, Pa. earlier in life, of which Ramon learned many survival and sport activities. Ramon’s employment history was one of excellence and hard work in the positions of Pediatric Physical Assistant and for the last 6 months, he rose to the position of Supervisor of Maintenance at Discovery Place for Little People – Child Care in Yeadon, Pa. He also had a very special place in his heart for animals. He taught himself how to raise, care for and train dogs and cats, throughout the years; even to the point of hands-on delivery of puppies. The family, friends and neighbors all agree that, he was a Man of Loyalty and would be willing to risk his very life for his family or a friend. This factor was made very apparent in the tragic ending of his short life of 22 years. Ramon was extremely intelligent and learned to play the Game of Chess at an early age. Many people stated over the years, that Ramon could become a great attorney, since he could debate numerous topics and Biblical meanings, at great length and depth. He had a wonderful sense of humor and great wisdom at such a young age. Ramon C. Anderson loved and also loves GOD with all his heart and gave his life to Jesus at an early age and then rededicated his life to GOD again, a few years ago. When our loving son, Ramon passed on, he truly had a Peaceful Smile on his face with a Heavenly Glow; despite the fact that cowards, with no fear of GOD, had ambushed and attached him.
In ending, Ramon’s most immediate family consist of his wife of 5 years, Charnaigh Anderson and their children: Ramya and Ramon Jr. He will also be extremely missed by his family of Deborah Anderson(Mother), Wilbert Ricketts Sr. (Father), Ricardo Anderson(Brother), Roberta, Rachel and Ruth Anderson(Sisters) and also his deeply loved – extended family members of Wesley, Warren, William and John Ricketts and Thomas Hunt(Brothers), Johnetta Ricketts and Serina Hunt(Sisters), who he grew to Love very much. Ramon’s immediate nieces and nephews are: Janee, Jeremiah, Louis and Alaida. He also leaves behind to treasure his memory, a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts, uncles and other relatives and close friends.
