ROSEVILLE, Mich.
Joelle R. (Lorenz) Bowling, 39, a resident of Roseville, Mich., passed away suddenly at her home on Tuesday, July 11, 2006.
She was born on February 24, 1967, in Hancock, a daughter of Dennis and Rita (Lindeman) Lorenz. As a child, she moved with her family to the Detroit area where she attended and graduated from Plymouth Salem High School in Canton, Mich.
Joelle had worked various jobs in the Detroit area; most recently she worked security and maintenance at the Grosse Pointe Hunt Club.
Joelle's love for her children and artistic ability will always be remembered.
Preceding her in death were her maternal grandfather, Floyd Lindeman and paternal grandparents, William and Glennis Lorenz.
Surviving are her husband, David Bowling of Roseville; three daughters, Chelsea, Heather and Kaylee Bowling, all of Roseville; her parents, Dennis and Rita Lorenz of Roscommon, Mich.; a brother, Daniel (Carrie) Lorenz of Linden, Mich.; her maternal grandmother, Margaret Lindeman of Winona; a great aunt, Katherine "Katy" Komula of Chassell; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services for Joelle will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 17, 2006, in the First Lutheran Church in Winona with Fr. John Martignon of St. Ignatius Loyola Church of Houghton to officiate. Burial will be in the Woodland Cemetery in Winona.
Friends may call on Sunday, July 16, 2006, from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Memorial Chapel Funeral Home in Hancock where a parish prayer service will be held at 6 p.m. and on Monday at the church from 10 a.m. until time of services."
