Mrs. Emma Barnum, aged 75, died at 1:15 a.m. today at her home, 1201 N. Center St., following an illness of several years. She suffered a stroke on last December 29 and for the past 11 weeks had been under the constant care of her sister, Carry Hall of Cleveland.

Born in Hiram, Portage county, she later moved to Cleveland where she was a member of the Spiritualist Christian Science church. She also belonged to the Daughters of America lodge of Painesville and was a member of the Past Counselor's association of the organization.

She is survived by her husband, Willis H. Barnum; one daughter, Mrs. Lottie Nelson of Cleveland; three sons, Pearl of Montville, Hugh of Painesville, and Leon of Mentor; 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild, besides her sister, Mrs. Hall.
