Liberal politician. For two times he was accidental Mayor of Barcelona 1897-98 and 1909-10. He was the founder of the 1st Municipal School of Barcelona. Philanthropist, his death left a legacy that was used for the creation of several schools and at the Hospital of St. Paul and St. Croix.
