Major League Baseball Player. He was a pitcher who spent four years in the big leagues. Starting off his career in 1914 with the Chicago White Sox, he appeared in 3 games, going 1-0 with a 3.34 ERA. He was used mostly in middle relief and mop-up roles with Chicago. His best year was 1916 when he pitched for the hometown St. Louis Browns, when he went 5-6 over with a 3.28 ERA. He finished his career with Cleveland in 1919. After his retirement he became a bartender. He was killed when he fell off a pickup truck and fractured his skull.
