She was the daughter of John Samuel Richardson and Permelia A. Burke. She married James William Bloxom in Montague County. Later they moved to Sherman, Texas, as did his parents. He was an engineer at Southern Ice Company and drown in a pit of water at work. They had four daughters.
Later she remarried before dying of acute lobar pneumonia but she had been suffering from diabetes before that.
