Amick-Burnett Funeral Home at Benton is in charge of arrangements.
Lawless, 19, died Sunday, Nov. 8, 1992, at the junction of Interstate 55 and Highway 77.
She was born Aug. 2, 1973, at Sikeston, daughter of Marvin James and Esther Lavera Duty Lawless.
Lawless was a 1991 graduate of Kelly High School, member of Benton Gir Scout Troop, and member of Unity Church. She had been a candy striped at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was a freshman at Southeast Missouri State University, and worked at Shoney's in Sikeston.
Survivors include her parents; a brother, Jason Lawless; a sister, Valerie Lawless, all of Benton Route 1; maternal grandparents, Estel and Ann Duty of East Prairie, and paternal grandparents, James and Angie Lawless of Benton.
A beautiful life cut short. I didn't know Angela well, but remember her as a very sweet child when attending Unity Baptist Church with her family. Unknown killer is still at large.
