Husband to Miss. Anna Marie Hall married on February 15, 1855. Prominent member of the Baltimore Barr. He was born in Annapolis, MD. He father was a clergyman of the Protestant Episcopal Church. He was educated at St. Paul College under the Rev. Dr. Mubleuberg, and afterwards taught for a short time in that institution. He studied law in the office of Mesers, Brown, & Brune, and has practiced his profession in the city. Mr. Blanchard had for many years been noted for his active work in most of the organised efforts for the advancement of public improvement. As a member of the Protestant Episcopal Church, its boards, schools, and conventions; of the board of commissioner of public schools, the Asylum for the Blind, the Peabody Institute, and many other of the leading institutions of Baltimore.
