Funeral services for Mrs. Lillian Gunyan, 77, of 301 Barracks, Rock Springs, will be conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. at Rogan Chapel the Rt. Rev. Msgr. Albin Gnidovec officiating. Burial will be in the Mountain View section of Rock Springs Municipal Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be six grandsons, Jack Gunyan, Don Carder, Harvey Kettering, James Washam, Ronald Gunyan and Benjamin Chabre.

Mrs. Gunyan died Thursday, Nov 19, at Sweetwater County Memorial Hospital, where she had been a patient 10 weeks.

Born March 22, 1893, in Wabash, Ind., she had been a resident of Rock Springs 49 years. She was married in 1908 to Ben Gunyan in South Bend, Ind. Mr. Gunyan died May 13, 1969.

Mrs. Gunyan had been employed at the Park Hotel and had operated her own laundry for many years. She was the mother of 18 children, eight of whom are still living.

Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. George (Florence) Markisich of Salt Lake City and Mrs. Felix (Verna) Chabre, Mrs. Don (Dorothy) Corder, Mrs. George (Lila) Kettering and Mrs. Eileen Washam, all of Rock Springs; three sons, Robert B. Gunyan of Oxnard, Calif., and Ronald and Jack Gunyan both of Rock Springs; one sister, Mrs. Verna Brooks of Denver; 48(?) grandchildren, 58 great-grandchildren and two nieces.
